Run your Radio Controlled Model Submarines in a Swimming Pool
Unlike other disciplines of model boating, model RC submarines benefit from being run in clear water allowing you to follow your models progress under water without limiting yourself to periscope depth. We organise 3-4 'Dive-In' events throughout the year at venues like swimming pools, where you can run your sub safely and recover them easily should the worst happen. The ability to see your boat clearly throughout greatly enhances the satisfaction one gets from this hobby. Previously it has been hard, very expensive or a bureaucratic nightmare to run your model in suitable venues like these in the UK. With these 'Dive In' events we hope to introduce model submariners to a new way of enjoying this hobby. Photography and video, both conventional and sub mounted are welcomed and encouraged.
Even if you dont have a model of your own, or are just curious, you're welcome to attend and experience what Radio Controlled model submarines are all about.
Unfortunately the Dive-in which was due to be held on Sunday 6th November at Brockwell Lido has had to be cancelled at short notice.
